The circle journey continues...

Growing is Hard Work
It is really raining now and
the chill of the dark air
reaches beyond the skin.

The purple flowers
battered by the heavy drops
struggle to stand tall,
wavering now and then
under the weight of the water.
The long memories of their roots give them faith
that the sun will rise again.

To grow they need both rain and sun
harshness and brightness.
To flower and share their beauty
they need to know the pain
to enjoy the joy.
